On October 22, 2017, Alex and Amanda exchanged their vows at the Old Glory Distilling Co. and we had the pleasure of capturing it! The sweet and fun-loving couple seemed to have a great time at their reception, where Lt Dan's D.J. provided awesome dance tunes and the The Choppin' Block served a yummy meal. Wrapping up the evening with a sparkler tunnel, the couple drove off into wedded bliss! Congratulations you two!!
September 30th was just a perfect day! The weather was beautiful, the bride was stunning, the groom handsome and the family welcoming! The Tanglewood House was the setting for this wonderful celebration, which meant things went off without a hitch and the flowers were just amazing! The ceremony was both in English and Hungarian, as Attila, the groom is from Hungary and some of his family members made the trip over seas just for his special day with his lovely bride Angie! The couple seemed so happy together and we wish them well as the begin their new life together as husband and wife!
Logan and Felix exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony this past September 2nd at the Sango Event Center. Their closest family and friends, to include Frankie, their dog, witnessed these two say their "I dos" and then it was on to the festivities! The Chopping Block provided a fantastic meal after which the dancing started. There was love all around as the happy couple danced with each other and then their parents! Kodah, a close friend and honorary bridesmaid, entertained the guests with music and song as a special gift to Logan and Felix. The evening ended with a sparkler send off and lots of hugs! Congratulations to you both!! It was a truly heart-felt and happy day!
On July 7th, 2017, Katie and Dominic exchanged "I do's" at the Tanglewood House. The bride, Katie, wore a beautiful gown paired with cowboy boots! They were all smiles all through the service and more so throughout the evening. When it came to the first dances, they suprised their parents by having the parents dance together to their original wedding songs! They cut their wedding cake, which was made by The Cake Artist......MAJOR YUM! Then it was on to dancing for all the guests, with Van the DJ keeping things hopping! The evening ended with a sparkler tunnel and then, of course, our signature specialty shots! It was a wonderful wedding and we wish them the very best!!
On June 3rd, 2017, Anna and Dustin exchanged heartfelt vows along with taking communion together in a lovely ceremony in Nashville. They had a cake reception in the fellowship hall for all their guests followed by a bubble departure. They held a family cook-out afterwards that was filled with great food, cornhole and fun! They ended the evening with a unique lighting of lanterns which they released into the sky. It was just a beautiful day all around, with plenty of smiles and laughter! They're family was SO welcoming to us, we almost forgot we were outsiders! Congratulations you two!
Joseph and Kristen exchanged vows at the lovely Tanglewood House on May 27th, 2017. It was easy to see the love between them and even when the ceremony had to be moved inside due to weather, they both were filled with smiles and happiness! Kristen absolutely glowed and topped off her bridal look with a handmade veil and a special pendant added to her bouquet from family. Offering a bit of uniqueness to the reception, they provided board games for the guests who didn't feel like dancing! First Dance DJ Service kept the dance floor hopping, though, and even instilled a variation of the shoe game, which included not only the newlyweds, but three other couples, all at different stages in the married lives. A great time was had by all, but at the end of the evening, even after most all the guests had left, the loving couple shared one more dance together before heading off to their honeymoon. We'd like to wish Joseph & Kristen the very best and thank them for letting us be a part of their special day! Congratulations guys!
Alex and Jessie exchanged their vows on May 13th, 2017 in a beautiful ceremony and then it was on to Freedom Point for the reception and tons of fun! They offered their guests dinner from the Liberty Bar & Grill that was magnificent and then it was on to the dancing. They not only had the standard dancing couples....Jessie & Alex, along with the father/daughter and mother/son dance, but they also had both sets of parents dance to their own song as well, even Grandma got her own dance with a handsome partner! They also had a cigar bar, cornhole and Jenga for their guests along with a yummy candy bar and, of course, (my favorite!) the cake, done beautifully in 4 flavors by the Cake Artist. After the popular shoe game and more dancing, they ended the evening with a sparler tunnel and a kiss. All through the evening, it was easy to see how much love there was between the happy couple and the family so so sweet! Definitely a wedding to remember and we had the honor of capturing it! Congratulations you guys!
Chris and Ashley exchanged vows on a beautiful sunny day, May 6, 2017. They chose The Tanglewood House as their location which meant that everything ran smoothly for the happy couple, thanks to the wonderful staff. After dinner and toasts, the guests were treated to dancing and fun, using Tanglewood's photobooth! The couple ended the evening with a sparkler send off by family and friends before wrapping up their magical evening. Both Ashley and Chris were wonderful to work with and we were so honored to have been part of their special day! Congratulations you two!!
On April 15th, 2017, not only two family came together, but two cultures as well. Young Jun, the groom, is from Korea and his family traveled very far to share his wedding day to his beautiful bride, Brittany who is from here in Clarksville. The ceremony was held in both English and Korean, but no matter what language was being spoken, you could easily read the love and joy the new couple had for one another! They were both smiling and laughing all night long!
The festivities took place at Clarksville's Freedom Point, where fun was had by all. Even the grooms mother was cutting a rug on the dance floor by the evenings end! The whole family was so warm and welcoming, that the night whizzed by and before you knew it, it was time for things to end. The couple did a sparkler tunnel send off before jumping into a stretch limo and happily waving goodbye! We wish Britney and Young Jun the very best as the start their new lives together! Congratulations to you both!!
November 12th was an absolutely perfect fall day for Kyle and Melissa to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony at the lovely Tanglewood House. Just in from Charleston, South Carolina, this fun and energetic couple were all smiles and clearly in love. Their own personal stylings were everywhere, from the unique Asian cuisine for dinner and donuts served along with the wedding cake to her beautiful tea-length ivory gown! Their fun-loving nature clearly rubbed off on the guests as a great time was had by all and the dance floor stayed hopping all night long! We wish you both the absolute best as you start your journey as husband and wife together!
This past Sunday, October the 23rd, was a perfect crisp and clear fall day for Andrea & Chris. They chose The Tanglewood House to exchange their vows, and the weather was perfect! Andrea looked stunning in her gown and it was easy to see the love she and Chris had for one another. The Cake Artist provide the delicious cake (yum, our favorite part!) and the dance floor was never empty! They even had a new thing after the garter & bouquet toss....the groom boutonniere toss! It was tossed by the groom to all the married women. The woman who caught is said to be the next one to get pregnant! The even ended with a hand tunnel since it was too bright for sparklers, but was just as fun! Congratulations Andrea and Chris!!
We just want to say "Thank you!" to Kathryn & Wes who gave us the opportunity to capture some wonderful photographs at their wedding at The Chapel in Nashville, Tennessee and their reception at the Holy Trinity United Church of Christ in Nashville. You two were a pleasure to work with and your family was just wonderful also!
We were so happy to be back at The Tanglewood House capturing Chelsea & Bill's beautiful wedding. Despite a severe chance of rain earlier in the week we ended up with some great weather and a much needed break from a hot August in Tennessee. Thanks for giving us the chance to be a part of your special day, we look forward to releasing the rest of your images!
We just want to thank Christine & Brian for the opportunity to photograph their very special wedding and reception at The Tanglewood House in Clarksville, TN. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful event and we were so glad to have been a part of it!
Thank you for choosing us Sharon and Mike....what a beautiful wedding and reception at The Tanglewood House in Clarksville, TN. We wish you the very best in everything!
Check out some of the amazing photos we caught of Marlena and Nick from their wedding and reception at Covey Rise in Mt Juliet, Tennessee!
We just love our June weddings in Clarksville, Tennessee and Sammi & Chance could not of picked a better day to tie the knot! We started at the The Riverview Inn and were able to take some great set-up and getting ready images and then we proceeded to an elevator assisted first-look in the main lobby! We then took the large (and fun!) bridal party outside for some unique images. We then proceeded to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and were again just blown away by just how perfect of a setting it is for a wedding! They then had a bubble departure and we took full advantage of the church garden and captured some great couple portraits. From there it was on to The Belle Hollow where we adored their first dance and the evenings festivities. Thanks for choosing us, we are so glad you did!!!
A few months ago, I had the unique and most wonderful opportunity to travel overseas! I have always wanted to see Paris and this trip came with the bonus of a week in Budapest with Jerry Ghionis too! How could I say no? Of course, this wasn't a simple vacation, it was to hone my skills as a photographer, but hey, if you're going to hone your photography skills, why not do it in style?!
My trip started with a week in Paris, where I was accompanied by my "assistant and body guard", aka my dad, John Kent. Bill, my business partner and husband, couldn't go with me, but didn't want me to go alone, so he sent my dad with me. I'm a total daddy's girl and didn't mind at all! We spent a week in Paris, walking EVERYWHERE! Paris is simply amazing! The city is beautiful and despite their reputation of being snooty, they were actually very helpful and nice. We did spend two days with a local photographer, Michel Planson, who took us around different parts of Paris and worked on my photography with me.
Then it was on to Budapest, Hungary where I would meet up with Jerry Ghionis and the rest of the class to spend a week of training in his Master Class. We toured Budapest and spent long hours in class and with models, practicing our skills. It was a long and exciting week. He and his wife Melissa and wonderful and amazing people, so warm and caring. We went everywhere as a class, of which there were only 9 of us, so we really got personal attention. I learned SO much! I am looking forward to this year of weddings so I can apply everything I have learned! He also gave me lots of advice on the business side as well, so be looking for the website to change a bit as well! Here are just a few of the amazing shots I got in Budapest!
It was a sunny Kentucky day when Samantha (or 'Sam') and Zachary exchanged I do's at the James Bruce Convention Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on June 11th, 2016. The ceremony itself was beautiful and made extra special with a 'tree ceremony' by the couple, which entailed both bride and groom adding soil to a young tree that would later be planted at their home. The couple did a sneak away so that we could capture some amazing images of the newlyweds before heading into the beautifully decorated reception for an evening of dancing and fun. We ended with an amazing sunset and then a sparkler send off! The couple and their party were such a pleasure to work with and we were so happy to have been chosen to get to capture and share their very special day with them!
It was just wonderful being back at the Clarksville Country Club! We thank Ashley & Justin for choosing us for their special day!
Thank you for choosing us for your special wedding and reception at The Tanglewood House in Clarksville, Tennessee!
Wow...we love May weddings and were just blessed with beautiful weather for Jessica and Nick's special day! We arrived at Bethlehem United Methodist Church where we captured some wonderful getting ready images. Jessica was just full of smiles which made it easy to capture some great images! The ceremony went great and we proceeded to Freedom Point for a beautiful reception. Once the reception ended we went to the bridge by Freedom Point and captured some really unique images of Jessica and Nick. We just want to say "Thank you" for choosing us! It was a pleasure!
We were just thrilled to be the wedding photographers for Maggie & Taylor at Burdoc Farms, Crofton, KY. Burdoc Farms recently had their wedding barn destroyed by a tornado, so we were happy to have the opportunity to photograph a wedding in their new wedding barn. We weren't disappointed and found the new wedding barn to be an ideal setting for the beautiful wedding ceremony of Maggie & Taylor. Maggie and Taylor's excitement over tying the knot was on display as they both danced down the aisle after the big kiss! From there we took some great family and bridal party shots and proceeded to the reception for a beautiful sit-down dinner. The reception was very lively and the dance floor was packed throughout the evening. We also enjoyed the great fireworks show! Thanks for choosing us and letting us be a part of your very special day!
It was a beautiful March Clarksville day as Melissa and Jacob promised themselves to each other in front of friends and family and Wallflower was thrilled to be there to capture it all forever. We arrived and from the moment we did everything went like clockwork. We had plenty of time to get some great shots of Melissa and Jacob and the bridal party. The ceremony was beautiful and the weather was perfect for a March wedding. We had several posing sessions and took full advantage of them. We thank you for choosing us, we really enjoyed your special day and hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed taking them!
On a sunny, gorgeous, January Kentucky day, at the James Bruce Convention Center, Kali and Luke were bonded together forever in a beautiful winter wonderland and Wallflower had the privilege of capturing their very special day! Wow...what a great wedding! We had a great bride and groom, a super nice bridal party, and some fun family members to work with, what else could we ask for! The wedding had a great turnout and everyone enjoyed the winter wonderland wedding and reception. Thanks for letting us capture your special day and we hope you enjoy these sneak peek images.
When we first met Jen and Ken we were really pleasantly surprised to hear they were planning their wedding for January 01, 2016. They explained to us that it was the day they met, so to them January was a great month for a wedding, and you know what....they were exactly right! Belle Hollow just looked beautiful for their wedding and while it was cool, it was pleasant enough for a beautiful outside wedding, and we were glad to capture their memories! Jen and Ken were just so great to work with all day and there wasn't a photo we wanted that they weren't up for! We had several great posing sessions and really enjoyed our day with them! Thank you for choosing us...and thanks for proving there is no bad month for a wedding in beautiful Clarksville!
Lauren and Jack were married on a beautiful, warm and windy, Clarksville December day! Shel proceeded to the Riverview Inn to take some great getting ready images of Lauren while Bill went to the Wilma Rudolph Event Center to meet Jack and his groomsmen. As we walked into the Wilma Rudolph Center we couldn't help but notice the unique set-up by Total Package Events. Their aim was to create a wedding winterland and they obviously did! We were able to do a first look prior to the ceremony which gave us time to do a great portrait session before sunset. We then had a 5:00 ceremony that went off without a hitch that led to a very exciting reception. The DJ kept them dancing all night and we had numerous opportunities to take some great dance pictures. We thank you for the opportunity to be part of your very special day....Thank you!!
Who says that November is not a good month for weddings? Jen and Cory had a beautiful wedding on Nov 22, 2015 and we were lucky enough to be selected as their photographers for their very special day! The Belle Hollow in Clarksville was the location for the wedding and the reception and while it was a little cold outside it was bright and sunny and we captured some great outside images! Jen and Cory were both super easy to work with and gave us plenty of time to do a couple posing sessions with them that turned out great. We really appreciate all of the compliments and the note we received from Jen's mom on Facebook meant the world to us! We appreciate you choosing us and we are honored to capture these great images! Thank you!
Emily & Eddie were bound together forever on a beautiful October Kentucky day at Valor Hall in Oak Grove, Kentucky. From the time we arrived we felt so welcomed by Emily & Eddie and their family. Everything went according to schedule and we were really happy they did an early "First Look" which allowed us plenty of time to take some great pictures of everyone before the ceremony.
While there are a lot of great venues in Clarksville, we were excited to "Go Country!" and get out to Indian Mound, TN to photograph Leshay & Quintin's wedding! They are fortunate to have some beautiful land on their property which provided a wonderful backdrop for a beautiful wedding and reception! You can tell how hard they worked to make sure everything was just right and it showed in the set-up for the ceremony and the reception. The ceremony was beautiful and followed by an exciting reception. At the end of the night we had a sparkler tunnel and the most amazing thing happened...as soon as the couple cleared the tunnel and we got some great pics...it poured! Talk about perfect timing from a perfect couple on a perfect day! Thanks for letting us capture your memories!
It turned out to be a beautiful Burdoc Farms day and we were super excited to photograph Alaina & Ben's special day! We were glad to be back at Burdoc Farms and were really happy to witness the beautiful ceremony and reception! Thanks for letting us capture your special day and we just love how the images turned out! Wow...what a sunset!!
It was a beautiful September Tennessee day at Freedom Point as Camille and Stephen promised themselves to each other in front of friends and family. We were so thankful to be a part of their special day, from the bride being super sweet and the groom being really easy to photograph we could not be more thankful. The ceremony went without a hitch and was followed by an action-packed reception topped with a full wedding party dance that really added a special touch to the wedding. We ended it with a great sparkler tunnel and left happy to have been the photographers for this very special day!
We just love the Wilma Rudolph Center for a large reception in Clarksville! And Dr. Alexis and Dr. Marlon Heaston had a beautiful September wedding there! The joy and love shared by everyone was obvious throughout the day and we were so glad to be able to capture the memories forever! From the getting ready images, to the ceremony at First Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, to the great reception at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, it was an awesome day! We thank you for letting us be a part of it!
On a beautiful August Tennessee day at The Belle Hollow Jennifer & Joseph promised themselves to each other in front of family and friends and we had the privilege of capturing every moment! Jennifer chose a first-class vendor team for her special day and between Lisa of Wedding Belles as her coordinator and Jim and Lisa of total Package doing the decorations she was in great hands! The cake was adorable as always, great job The Mixing Bowl! We also want to thank Lamar and Laiden, their children, who were an active part of the wedding and were a pleasure to photograph!

On a beautiful November day, Andrea & Corey promised one to each other, and we were so happy to be able to capture the moment. We started the day at Riverview Inn where both Andrea & Corey got ready and were able to capture some magical images. They both were so easy to take some great pictures of and it shows in our images. Freedom Point looked great and the clouds were just wonderful! The ceremony went off without a hitch and the dance floor was very active. We closed the evening with a sparkler tunnel and some great pixelstick images. Thanks so much for hiring us...both of you are just great and we hope you enjoy our images forever!
For those of you who have not been to Legacy Farms, Lebanon, Tennessee, we highly recommend you take a drive and see this beautiful venue. It was made even more beautiful when it hosted Stacy & Charles's wedding ceremony and reception on October 25, 2014. From the wonderful getting ready images, to the ceremony, and then the reception, it just all added up to some beautiful images and a great day them. We really are thankful for you choosing us and letting us be part of your special day...thank you!
Courtney and Cole promised themselves to each other on October 18, 2014 and Wallflower was glad to have captured their special day! We enjoy all of our couples and found ourselves really enjoying this wedding also. The Hayloft at Port Royal is a great venue and we were blessed with some wonderful weather as we took some great images throughout the day. We especially appreciated just how easy it was to work with Courtney and Cole and just how welcome their family and guests made us. Thanks for choosing us, we really appreciate being part of your day and hope you loved the images!
Carly & Chris were married on October 12, 2014 at Oakland Manor, Hopkinsville, Kentucky and we really enjoyed being a part of their very special day. The getting ready images went great and led to a beautiful ceremony. The long walk to the ceremony allowed for some beautiful images and the light really accented the wedding gazebo for some really great images also. The reception was very well done and it just seemed everyone did not want the night to end. Thanks for letting us capture some really great images, we appreciate it greatly and were proud to be your wedding photographers!
Jennifer and Ryan were so great to work with, from the beautiful wedding ceremony, to the grand reception at Belle Hollow, Clarksville, Tennessee, we had a great time photographing their special day. With it being October and in Tennessee we were not sure what the weather would do but it turned out to be a wonderful sunny day which helped us capture some wonderful portraits at the ceremony. We then proceeded to one of our favorite reception locations, Belle Hollow, and had a great time capturing the reception images. Thanks for letting us capture your day!
Ashley & Matthew promised themselves to each other on September 28, 2014 at the James Bruce Convention Center, Hopkinsville, KY. We really enjoyed their "Mario" themed wedding and were amazed at all of the small touches they made to carry the theme throughout the wedding. While all of our weddings are a lot of fun, we really thought this wedding was unique because of all of the special touches in the decorations to enhance the themed wedding. We had a great time and appreciate the opportunity to be a small part of your very special day. We also appreciate the chance to capture some great Pixelstick images and hope you enjoy them forever.
Jaclyn & Joshua were married on September 20, 2014 at the Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Cunningham, TN and had their reception at the Cumberland Room, Clarksville, TN. We felt welcome from the time we arrived and really enjoyed the opportunity to photograph their beautiful wedding. It was a short drive to the reception so we took advantage of the scenery and captured some beautiful bridal party portraits before the bride and groom entered. The reception went great and the evening finished with a beautiful sparkler tunnel. Thank you for the chance to be your photographers!
We were super excited to photograph Jama & Rory's wedding at The Hayloft at Port Royal. It was our first September wedding and we were looking forward to photograph a wedding in a little cooler weather:>). We were not disappointed as it turned out to be a beautiful day. The schedule was relaxed and we had an opportunity to visit a local cornfield for some very unique shots for their first look. The ceremony was next and was well attended and went smoothly. We then got some great family images and enjoyed a great reception. Thanks for a great wedding, it was a pleasure being your photographers.
We are so excited to announce that we are now taking Pixelstick images at all of our weddings which end in the evening. We came across this new technology and just knew we had to have it. We think it adds a really nice touch to the end of the evening and the possibilities are endless. We are also excited because it gives us the opportunity to take images during the engagement session and use them during the wedding to add a creative touch. If you have already booked with us, don't worry, we will be bringing the Pixelstick to your wedding also and look forward to adding some more special images to your gallery. Check out the images below so you can get an idea of just how special our Pixelstick images are.
August is usually not the most popular month for weddings, but Morgan & Thomas chose a great August day for a wonderful wedding at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and reception at Belle Hollow in Clarksville, Tennessee. We always love our weddings at Immaculate Conception because it is such a historic Clarksville venue. We also enjoyed the opportunity to take some great couple poses and Bridal Party portraits at the Clarksville downtown square. From there we moved to another great reception at Belle Hollow and were grateful to have the opportunity to capture some wonderful pictures! Thank you for letting us capture your special day!
What a wonderful day for a wedding and made even better by Daniell & Michael who were just so much fun to work with! It was a beautiful day at Valor Hall in Oak Grove, Kentucky for a wedding and we were excited to be a small part of their very special day. The one thing that stood out to us was just how happy both Daniell & Michael were and how their great smiles all day made for some awesome pictures. It was also unique because at the end of the ceremony we went to their home to take some images of their family enjoying the post-wedding pool party! Thank you for booking us...it was great getting to know such a nice couple!
On a beautiful July day, Cara & Mathias were united forever at Tanglewood, Clarksville, Tennessee and Wallflower was there to capture the day! We were excited to capture their wedding and were not disappointed as we were able to capture some great images. Thank you for letting us be your photographers and we wish you the best!
We were so excited to be Amanda & Ben's photographers! The ceremony was at one of our favorite churches, Trinity Parrish Church, Clarksville, Tennessee, while the reception was at the Custom's House. Both Amanda & Ben were super easy to work with and we had a great time. Thanks so much for letting us be a part of your day!
Thank you Jennifer & Travis for letting us be a part of your very special day! We had a great time capturing your images and were thankful it was easy to get some really great pictures. Though we had never been in Crossville it was well worth the trip and we appreciate everyone's hospitality. We also appreciated our first "Theater" wedding at the Palace theater, Crossville, Tennessee, and thought it provided an excellent backdrop for some great images! Thanks again!
Zelde & Patrick were married at the Gaylord Springs Golf Links, Opryland, Nashville, Tennessee, and we were excited to be able to capture the moment! While we enjoy all of our weddings we really had a blast at this one, especially with the singing during the ceremony! What a nice touch and it really set the tone for a great reception! Thanks so much, it was our pleasure to share your special day with you.
We really found ourselves touched by the moments throughout Kayla and Bryan's wedding at Tanglewood, Clarksville, Tennessee. As photographers we never forget that we are there to capture the moment, not be in it, but we found it hard not to be touched by the day's events. Between the hand written letters shared between them and the gifts for the bridal party there was just a whole lot of smiles, a whole lot of tears, and a whole lot of happiness going around. So we witnessed it all, wiped away some tears, and took some wonderful images. Thanks for letting us be a small part of your special day.
We really appreciate the opportunity to photograph Tabitha & Christopher's wedding in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Between the getting ready session, the first look, the wonderful portraits in the park, and the super friendly family and guests, we had a great time. Thanks for giving us the chance to capture your special day, we appreciate it greatly.
What a beautiful day for a wedding at Freedom Point! The sun was shining but yet it wasn't too hot as we were able to capture some great images of Stephanie & David. They were so easy to work with and we appreciate just how friendly them and their family were. Hope you enjoy these images at Freedom point as much as we enjoyed taking them!
Sophie & Terrell had a wonderful wedding and reception at the James Bruce Convention Center and Wallflower was thankful to capture the moment! I was wondering if they would fill such a large venue but they definitely did as all of their friends and extended family members showed up ready to celebrate their special day with them. From the great ceremony to the awesome reception we loved capturing the moment and our proud to share them with you!
FUN! FUN! FUN! To us this three letter word was the best way to describe our time with Tracy & Josh. Their smiles were infectious and we shared them all day as we went from a great ceremony to a wonderful reception. We were just thrilled to be able to capture the emotions of the day and were glad to be a small part of their great beginning! Thank you!
Samantha & Chris promised themselves to each other in front of family and friends at the beautiful Lake Barkley Resort in Cadiz, Kentucky. From the moment we arrived we had a hard time remembering we were working because we were having such a great time. The family was super sweet to us and made the day really great! After a wonderful ceremony we proceeded to the lodge and capture everyone dancing to their hearts delight. Later in the evening the karaoke got started and we were glad to capture everyone singing to the great music. Thanks for booking us, we sincerely wish you the best!
We were super excited to capture Deann & Alvin's most special day and we were not disappointed! From their ceremony at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church to the last amazing up-lighted first dance at Belle Hollow, Clarksville, Tennessee, we were thrilled to be small part of their amazing day!
Amanda & Robert were married at the family church, Grace Church of the Nazarene in Clarksville, Tennessee, and then had their reception at Valor Hall in Oak Grove, Kentucky. From their great no-look first-peek to their grand reception they were just a super easy couple to photograph. We loved their grand entrance into the reception that was flanked by friends who were members of the US Navy, US Air Force, and US Army. Thank you!
We love photographing weddings at Freedom Point and we love it even more when the couple is as nice and sweet as Jenna & Thomas. Between the great ceremony, great reception, and friendly family and guests it was just a great day for some wonderful images. Plus they did an engagement session with us which gave us and them an even better opportunity to be comfortable with each other and it really showed in the photographs. Thanks for the opportunity to be your photographers!
We just loved photographing Mechelle & Michael's special day. Burdoc Farms in Crofton, Kentucky is a wonderful location for a wedding and reception and we enjoyed it greatly. We were thankful we had beautiful weather for their special day. The ceremony was perfect and the reception was an absolute blast. Hope you enjoy the images below as much as we enjoyed taking them!
Cathy and Mark were such a wonderful couple to work with! From the getting ready images to the wonderful ceremony at Trinity Parrish Episcopal Church, Clarksville, Tennessee. The family and guests were super friendly and we had a great time. The reception music was beautiful and the Cake Artist created a beautiful cake for it. Fire and Ice catered the event and it was absolutely first class. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to photograph your most special day!
Morgan and David's special day started at Cedar Hill United Methodist Church in Cedar Hill, Tennessee. Morgan got ready with her bridesmaid's upstairs with Shel capturing the moment while David was downstairs with his groomsmen getting photographed by Bill. This was definitely another case where we were happy we had two photographers to capture every detail. We then set up David for the first look, no peek, in the church foyer, and then got ready for the ceremony. The ceremony was very touching and then we proceeded to the Clarksville Country Club for the party to begin. We had a great time and as always were touched by our couple's kindness and so glad they booked us for their special day!
Wow...what a wonderful couple and what an honor to be a small part of their very special day! They started getting ready at the Riverview Inn and then went to downtown Clarksville for a great first look and some awesome couple pictures. We then went to Tanglewood for the ceremony and were blessed with great weather and a whole bunch of smiles:>). The ceremony went without a hitch and then we did some great family pictures. The meal was wonderful and the dance floor filled fast as our lighting provided what we needed for some great night images. Thanks and we wish you the very best!
What an AMAZING wedding! Kerry and James are a beautiful couple and Scarritt-Bennett is an awesome place for a wedding! The wedding itself reminded me of something you'd see take place in England, which makes total since since that's where James is from. The bridal party had portraits taken afterwards at Nashville's Centennial Park Parthenon, where not only did we get amazing bridal party photos, a group of high school girls in a choir sang "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" for the happy couple, which they danced too. The two had their reception at a downtown Nashville hotel, The Hilton, which offered a balcony overlooking Nashville. Everyone was so welcoming and sweet to us and we had a fabulous time. Truly one of the BEST weddings ever!
Kennya and Tony were an amazing couple to work with! We had the pleasure of doing their engagment session earlier and then on March 8th, their reception with a red carpet theme, which they carried off brilliantly! Already officially married, but never getting the reception party they had dreamt of, they put together this fabulous and glamourous red carpet event which Kennya made her appearance decked out in a totally Hollywood glam evening gown, decked out in dazzling rhinestones that sparkled almost as much as her eyes whenever she looked at her loving husband Tony! You could easily tell how much these two loved each other, especially when they were dancing, which was so wonderful to watch. We truly enjoyed being able to capture their magical day for them and hope you enjoy going through the selected images of their event we've displayed here!
We started off February with another fun couple, Stacy and Charles! Taking advantage of the first nice day of 2014, we made our way to Franklin, TN which was the perfect setting to shoot this adorable and fun-loving couple. They were all smiles and laughter, which we love to see....it makes our job incredibly easy! And the downtown, while super busy that day, lent itself to a lot of great locales to shoot in just a block's radius. If the engagement shoot is any indication as to how the wedding is going to be, we should be in for a real treat, because we had a blast!
We had the wonder opportunity to shoot the engagement photos for Kerry and James in Nashville. It was so easy to capture the true love and deep emotional bond between the two of them and we were thrilled with the outcome of the shoot! Their wedding will be this April in Nashville and we will be there as well to take in the day, immortalizing it with photographs for them. We can't wait!
We were just thrilled when Amber contacted us to photograph her wedding. We went to her mother's house to meet her and left feeling like we had known her family for years! We were all blessed for a wonderful pre-wedding shoot in downtown Clarksville, TN and the weather cooperated nicely. Of course it also helped that her color was red and this time of year there were plenty of opportunities to incorporate her color into the images. Once we finished with our pre-wedding shoot we proceeded to her mother's home for a beautiful touching ceremony and we were all reminded just how beautiful a small intimate wedding with friends and family can be:>). Thank you Amber and Greg and we wish you the very best!
We were so glad when Dessara & Jabbar booked us for their wedding. From the moment we met them, to the engagement session, and then their most special day, we had a wonderful time as their photographers. The church was a beautiful setting even on a cold day and the reception at the Wilma Rudolph Convention Center was wonderful. We even got Dessara & Jabbar to venture out on a cold December evening for some intimate shots:>). Thanks, we had a great time!
Our next lovely couple were Lacey and Kevin, who were married in a beautiful catholic church in downtown Clarksville. Her dress was amazing and her mom actually made the flower girl's dress to match! Along with her bouquet, Lacey carried an antique hanky that belonged to her grandmother. The couple exchanged gifts before the ceremony, but without seeing each other. They stood on opposite sides of the church door moments before walking down the aisle.
The reception was held at the Clarksville Country Club, which was filled with great food, dancing and a very unique cake tradition. Each bridesmaid, the bride and even the flower girl gathered around the cake and pulled a ribbon out. Each ribbon had a charm on the end signifying different things. It was a very sweet (no pun intended) tradition.
Wow! We have been crazy busy, but that's great! Just wanted to catch everyone up on some of the amazing weddings we have photographed since our last post.
Chelsea and Christopher were a military couple who's wedding was one of the most perfect 'country chique' themed weddings I had seen! They were married September 7th and the weather was amazing for this outdoor event. The couple were just so sweet and she looked truly stunning in her dress! The bouquet was made especially for her by her mom who surprised her with it right before the ceremony. It was made of a fantastic collection of antique pins and satin flowers.
Christopher wore his military uniform and in a very special addition to the ceremony, presented Chelsea with her own special dog tags. It was so beautiful and meaningful! The couple then danced the night away under the star-lit sky with friends and family. It was truly a fantastic wedding!
We drove forever it seemed thru the beautiful Tennessee countryside to get to Jessica & Will's wedding location, but when we arrived we knew it was worth every minute of driving. What a great location for a beautiful wedding! The weather was wonderful, the temperature was great, everyone was in wonderful spirits, and we had the privilege of taking some wonderful images. The bride's sister set the mood with some wonderful songs and the ceremony was delightful. Afterwards we went to a great reception location and were able to capture every moment.
Wow...what a friendly couple Krystal & Wes were and what a pleasure to be a part of their most special day. We felt instantly welcomed as we started the day photographing Krystal as she got ready and just loved meeting her family and friends. We then went to the Pinnacle Bowling Center for the ceremony and reception and were super impressed with the set-up and the fun crowd. The ceremony went off without a hitch and then Wes surprised everyone by carrying Krystal away after the ceremony! We then walked with the bridal party to the surrounding woods and captured some very special shots in a secluded area. We then returned for a great reception and finished it as we always do with some wonderful sparkler images..that's right, we bring sparklers to every wedding as a perfect ending to a perfect day!
Christina & Justin were just such a pleasure to shoot. The day started with me photographing Christina as she got ready for her special day while Bill went to the Groom's parents home to take some images of the groom and groomsmen getting ready. Then we went to Freedom Point on a beautiful Tennessee September day and captured some wonderful images of the ceremony and the reception. Christina's smile seemed to just brighten every ones day even more and we were so glad to be there to capture it! We finished the day with some great sparkler images and with a warmth in our hearts because they reminded us both of just how special weddings can be.
What a unique couple Tristyn and Greg were! Instead of a first look, they had a first touch! They didn't want to see each other before the ceremony, but did want to simply hold hands for a minute before their walk down the aisle. So, with Tristyn blindfolded and with Greg blindfoldfold with a special baseball cap she had bought him they were each lead to the opposite sides of a tree by their bridal party and reached out to hold hands. It was so touching!
They had changed the wedding date from Saturday to Sunday at the last minute due to weather, but that didn't stop their closest family and friends from attending and showing their love and support. They showed up early that morning to help put into place all the DIY projects that made this country wedding meaningful. What a beautiful and unique wedding it was! We are so happy that we were given the opportunity to share their special day with them!
Talk about a fun couple! Christiane and Bob were married on June 13th at Montgomery Bell State Park. They had come all the way from Michigan for the wedding and were such a fun-loving wonderful couple! There were lots of pictures of them laughing and having so much fun, I couldn't help but laugh with them!
Their family came together to do the decorating and were so welcoming to us, we truly enjoyed their wedding. I have no doubt that their marriage will be filled with laughter and happiness. The speeches were very touching, even when Christiane's dad pulled out a banana and gave it to her as a special gift that symbolized a special memory they had. After the cupcakes were served and the cutting of the cake was the groom, Bob's groom cake (a Spiderman scene cake, no less!), they hit the dance floor with a great variety of 80's and 90's music. A great time was had by all and Wallflower Photography was so honored to be the team to capture this amazing couple's special day!
On June 8th, this adorable couple, John and Sarah, said their "I do's", in the same church they met at, while doing volunteer work in the church's food pantry. They even invited all of the pantry's customers to their wedding and collected non-perishable can goods for the pantry instead of gifts. Instead of wedding cake, they opted for wedding cupcakes, from The Cupcake Collection, which was a whole new definition of YUM! The background to the cupcakes was a quilt especially made for Sarah, in her wedding colors of green and purple.
Their family was all very welcoming, delightful people, some coming from the Netherlands to attend. Sarah's mom provided a special blessing by way of playing the violin and she is a wonderful violinist!
We thank John and Sarah for the opportunity to capture the images of their special day and for reminding us the importance of giving to those who are in need. We also wish this happy and amazing couple the very best in their marriage.
I've always loved weddings, it's one of the many reason I do what I do, but what I truly love is to see such a happy and loving couple. This past June, Wallflower had our first opportunity to photograph a wedding at the fabulous Gaylord Springs golf course. It was a fantastic venue and the couple, Nicole and Teddryck, are amazing! It's obvious they truly love each other and have such fun with one another!
The ceremony was outdoors and it was a wonderful sunny day. After they said their 'I dos" Nicole was serenaded by her sorority sisters, which was truly touching. We all then moved upstairs of the clubhouse for one amazing reception with lots of dancing, delicious food and celebrating! We then had the awesome opportunity to meet the couple at the Opryland Hotel, where we were able to capture some stunning portraits of the newlyweds.
Jennifer Klein, of 'A Magical Affair' served as Nicole's wedding coordinator and did an outstanding job of coordinating everything. The entire bridal party and their guests were such wonderful, welcoming people and we were delighted to have such an amazing opportunity! Our most heart-felt thanks and warmest wishes to the happy couple!
